Want It Wednesday: Marion Cotillard’s Look from July Vogue
My Want It Wednesday this week is the entire look and feel of this photograph of Marion Cotillard. From Vogue July 2010, French siren and Oscar winner Marion Cotillard was featured on the cover.
One of the additional Vogue photos caught my eye the most, showing Marion wearing a Nina Ricci fuchsia silk-and-slate flannel ruched dress and rosette-bouquet silk-chiffon cummerbund. With this stunning dress, her accessories stood out. The Nina Ricci dress was paired with and Vera Wang sunglasses and Christian Louboutin ruffled satin pumps. Not only do I absolutely adore her look, but I love the setting. See the entire feature at Vogue.com.
Dolce & Gabanna Card and iPhone Wallet

iPhones are becoming so popular that major designer brands are creating cases and carriers around them. This is a Dolce & Gabanna iPhone and credit card case, which is perfect because those are the most important essentials, for me anyways.
This is a leopard-print calf hair which comprises a zip-around card wallet that can be snapped to an iPhone case crafted from striated calfskin. A delicate chain strap provides a convenient carrying option, while a dangling logo medallion adds a chic finishing touch. $595 Available here.
Nina Twist Lock Leather Tote Bag from Luana
There’s something so refreshing about this tote bag that you’ll probably feel about ten degrees cooler just carrying it. Made in Italy by Luana, the Nina Twist Lock Leather Tote Bag is available in three other colors (white, blue and yellow) but the mint, shown above, is my favorite pick for summer. It’s pretty much Totes 101 here with all of the basic requirements covered: nice size (around 17” wide by 9” high), the inside is divided with a zippered pocket, and the simple twist lock closure keeps your treasures safe and sound. You can carry this tote by the handles or swing it over your shoulder. You will definitely look cool and who knows, you might just feel a little cooler too. Available at Forzieri for $351.
Cole Haan Raleigh Hobo
Is there anything quite as timeless as a smooth leather hobo? Probably not, if this Cole Haan Raleigh Hobo has any influence on the matter. As sleek and practical a bag as you could possibly want, it goes everywhere with ease and is available in multiple colors that work well whether you’re a sucker for bold shades (bright blue and raspberry) or stick with neutrals (black, white and gold). No matter what the choice, it’s safe to say you can’t go wrong with this bag. It will pay for itself in no time. Available for $348 at Cole Haan.
Juicy Couture Gen Y Toile Tote
Say goodbye to boring ol’ totes being sported around college campuses! The Juicy Couture Gen Y Toile Tote is perfect for that glamorous Gen Y girl you know. This stylish tote features a classic toile print with a funky twist. Plus it’s also super functional with a double shoulder strap, magnetic closure, inside zip pocket and cotton lining. Pick yours up at Saks for $78.
Lodis Violet Diva Clutch Wallet
Floral motifs remind me of my darling, but fashion-challenged, Granny – and, along with neon green rain bonnets and faux leopard skin swing coats, are something I tend to avoid. However, I do like this Lodis Violet Diva Clutch Wallet. True, the pattern may be a bit on the twee side, but the colors are bight and lovely and I big time dig the water color texture of the flowers. Then again, perhaps I am really just craving a huge hunk of Gran’s peanut butter fudge and my taste is being swayed by nostalgia. Either way, the clutch is pretty and I kind of want to find out what a “Violet Diva” is and how to become one. This slim charmer is going for $128 at Nordstrom.
J. Crew Floral Fantasma Clutch
Diminutive it may be, but what the J. Crew Floral Fantasma Clutch lacks in size it more than makes up for in detail. The imaginative design incorporates beads, bows, sequins, paillettes, gems and flowers, all in varying and very vibrant colors. It’s one of those rare purses that is easily dressed up or down – it looks adorable during daytime with a simple jersey dress, but also serves as a great alternative to traditional evening bags. With its bold exterior and equally brilliant orange interior, it’s guaranteed to brighten up any look. Available for $128 at J. Crew.
Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring 2011 Runway Bags

In one word: utilitarian. With a head trip theme underlying the spring men’s collection, Louis Vuitton’s men’s studio director Paul Helbers, under the auspices of Marc Jacobs, channeled what he described as “a rhapsody of three virtual scenarios for a digital bohemian, a man who travels the world from behind his computer screen.” That translated to accessories that are both at once eclectic and elegant: Chinese symbol LV medallions on leather cords to wrap around the wrist, a lifesaver medallion in unpolished tiger’s eye and windshield sunglasses. But can we talk about the bags?

LOVING LOVING the Damier Graphite canvas pieces personalized by Brooklyn-based tattoo artist Scott Campbell (his work was also prominent on the models’ necks and arms and on several Utah leather leathergoods). Lightweight and functional, the bags are inspired by active sports. Featuring details like multi straps and handles, zippers and pockets galore, the super light nylon styles showcase the Damier check print in black, electric blue and a gorgeous amazonian green. What’s more: they’re completely foldable and packable within their inside pocket! For the more subdued gent, washed olive and khaki denim tote styles are on target, printed with either the Monogram in large scale or the “Louis Vuitton Articles de Voyage” archive signature for a military feel. Last but not least, check out the new Keepall Waterproof, which for spring will be fashioned in a Damier printed translucide PVC version.

The Proenza Schouler Paper Bag Tote is now available at Net-a-Porter!
When we wrote about Proenza Schouler’s Pre-Fall 2010 accessories collection a month ago, a lot of people were excited about the brand’s upcoming paper bag tote. (A lot of people also hated it, but hey, that happens.) It was only a matter of time before it hit stores, and as of today, it finally has.
The tote, which is made out of treated leather instead of actual paper, is now available via Net-a-Porter for $615. I’m sure that some people will complain about the price for what is a fairly simple bag, but for the size and material, it seems pretty fair to me.
If you’ve been anticipating this tote’s arrival, check it out via Net-a-Porter.

Valentino Denim 360 Hobo
I used to love denim bags but then it became the stupidest material you can possibly use for bags. And now it’s back and I’m loving it again. Especially on the Valentino 360 Hobo which is easy to love but the price in leather make this very specific bag hard to plunk down $1400 for. In totally makes sense in denim because it is automatically dressed down so you won’t feel like you need to wear something so special to go with this overly adorned bow bag. The dark denim is really nice and the top stitching gives it a finished look but the best part is, you can wear dark denim with this and not worry about rub off!! At Neiman Marcus for $895.
