A Funky Look Is All About Confidence… But Some Chanel Shoes Couldn’t Hurt!
Dear Isa,
I feel like I have a fun and free spirit, but my boring wardrobe just doesn’t match my personality! I’m in my early 30′s and I guess I’m worried people will think I’m trying to dress like I’m still a teenager. Can you help me find a balance that will let me express myself without overdoing it? Thanks so much! I love your blog!
Marie
Dear M,
Thanks! I hear from a lot of women in your position, who are less confident expressing their personal style as they get older. A big part of it is just confidence! To pull of a funky style, you need to be willing to take some chances and go against the grain. Matching unconventional colors and making bold choices is what it’s all about! That said it is possible to overdo it, and while there are no ‘rules’ to this look, I can definitely provide you with some tips to help you start expressing your true self!
Before we even get to your clothes and designer purses, get creative with your make-up, nails, hair style and even hair color! Try some funky shades of eye shadow or nail polish or try giving your hairdresser carte-blanche to do something wild – take a few risks!
I think denim would be a great choice for you because it’s very customizable, so you can really make it your own. You can fade jeans in the wash or wear holes in the knees. Denim skirts and shorts will allow you to show off some funky high socks, as well as eye-catching shoes and boots.
There’s a lot you can do with tops too – the only limit is your imagination! Wild patterns, bright colors, cartoons, text and photo images are all great options. You may want to go with a plain top if you are wearing other patterned accessories like designer purses – conflicting patterns can really take away from this look.
Speaking of shoes, they’re a great way to add a little more fun! Bright colors or sassy boots with a chunky or platform heel are great choices – I’m especially fond of Mary Janes. Adorable! Contrasting black and white is a cool look, and also remember that a little glitter goes a long way! Think shiny pumps and sequins… Let’s take a look at some funky footwear I think you’ll love. How about Chanel slippers with a charmingly oversized bow? I think these are just too cute! It’s a must have, so buy them here!
For something a little more colorful, check out these Chanel red patent leather sneaker shoes with matching laces. They have elastic around the heel which is a great touch. These are the perfect companions for a sexy red skirt or dress.
And don’t forget boots! These Chanel Cinnamon suede knee-highs have a unique beige leather strip running up the sides, and it really helps them stand out.
Perforated black booties? Yes please! These are so sleek and sexy, and because they’re a simple monochrome you can still get fancy with your accessories. See more pictures here!
Lastly, let’s talk jewelry! Make it colorful and fun, but one article of jewelry is plenty, especially if it isn’t matching. These multicolored beads have a bohemian charm, while these enamel flowers with CC charms and pearls are a little simpler but just as lovely. See more stunning pieces of jewelry here!
If you readers out there have a funky style I want to hear about it! Better yet, send me a photo!
Thanks for writing Marie – stay funky!

Versace Studded Handbag Spring 2012

Versace is anything but subtle, and can sometimes border on tacky, but this season Spring 2012 Donatello Versace designed a beautiful collection, from the ready-to-wear to the accessories. The color palette is also softer than the usual, ultra bright, often neon shades. This studded handbag is from the Spring 2012 collection and is a pale violet, representing the light pastels used in this seasons designs. The bag is quilted and embroidered with seahorses, a take on the ocean life theme of the collection.
Quilted violet leather with all over gold stud details, this designer handbag is a beautiful Spring accessory. It has dual, rolled handles, and a detachable shoulder strap. It has a large, gold and violet charm with tassels on the front side and a zipper closure at the top. Inside is a single compartment with a cellphone pocket and a patch pocket. Versace handbags are made in Italy. This bag also comes in black. $3,214 Versace bags 2012 are here.
Bags Make The Man! 5 Fantastic Designer Handbags For Men
Times are changing, and fashion is changing right along with it! I’m reminded of one of my favorite Seinfeld episodes, in which Jerry buys men’s designer purses and is ruthlessly teased by his friends, until he famously declares “It’s not a purse – It’s European!!” I laughed my head off! Who would have thought that a little more than ten years later, men’s purses (or ‘murses’, as they have come to be known) would be a huge trend!
A big part of the change is that designers finally learned how to make bags for men that won’t make them look like they raided their girlfriend’s closet! There’s now a very clear distinction between women’s designer purses and men’s designer handbags. Jerry would be proud!
I’m going to show you five Louis Vuitton designer handbags that I really love. You’ll notice they all use dark, solid colors – that’s the secret to good men’s bags. With Valentines Day just around the corner, these make perfect gifts for the special guy in your life.
The Louis Vuitton Wichita
I was once in Wichita Kansas, and it was, well… boring. Fortunately, the Louis Vuitton Wichita isn’t! These beautiful burgundy bags feature two big exterior pockets with brass buckles and studs. It has a rustic feel, which makes it even manlier! There are more great photos here.
The Louis Vuitton Roman MM Glacier
If you’re looking for something a little more modern, let me recommend the Louis Vuitton Roman Glacier handbag, made with stunning Taiga leather. This is a bag for a man who already knows how to dress sharp and needs a bag to accentuate his great style. Picture him in a white dress shirt and tie with this bag over his shoulder as he turns a few heads at the office.
The Louis Vuitton Anton Alezan
Like the LV Wichita, the Anton Alezan features two distinct exterior pockets, but instead of having their own buckles they get tucked under the flap. My favorite part is that it has a briefcase handle and a shoulder strap, which makes it ideal for the casual business man. They’re very expensive, but I saw a good looking replica over here.
The Louis Vuitton Utah
The Louis Vuitton Utah is the simplest of all these bags, but it’s also the most unique. A single strip runs underneath the bag and holds down the flap with a button clasp. A brass buckle lets you lengthen the strap (in case your man like to tote a bunch of junk around… you know how men are). Don’t you just love how the stitching follows the contours around the edges of the bag? So elegant!
The Louis Vuitton Dersou
Lastly, we’ll go back to black with the LV Dersou. This bag is very modern and features unique pebbled leather and steel ‘figure 8′ clasps. It’s a little preppy, but most of the men I know could do with a little preppying up. Find yours here.
Did I miss any? I would especially love to hear from some of my male readers – I know you’re out there!

Want To Pay Less For Replica Louis Vuitton? Why Not Pay Nothing For A Great Scarf!
So many of my readers write in to ask me what the best place is to shop for replicas on a tight budget. Well the truth is that finding cheap replica designer purses online isn’t difficult, but the problem with really cheap bags is that they’re never any good! So if you want to save a few bucks, here’s a much better idea – take advantage of the monthly giveaways at Club Couture! Getting free merchandise just for shopping is really the only way to save money without having to buy poor-quality bags.
This month PV’s giving away a free replica Louis Vuitton Graffiti scarf when you spend $75 or more. It’s really gorgeous in hot pink and I love the bold lettering! And here’s a little tip: treat yourself to one of their Speedy Graffiti replica Louis Vuitton designer purses or Zippy Graffiti wallets and you’ll have a matching set for just the price of the bag.
The only other thing you need to do to take advantage of this deal, is to become a member of Club Couture. That’s the official club of PV – you can sign up here instantly and it’s free! Once you’re on board they’ll also keep you posted about other exclusive deals you can get as a member.
And remember, if you have questions about how to match your new scarf, you know who to call!

Have A Heart! Tiffany And Chanel Heart Charms Are Perfect For Valentines Day!
Dear Isa,
Firstly, Happy New Year! I love your blog and I’ve always wanted to write you a letter, so here it is!
I’m curious about designer jewelry that will be in style in 2012. I was thinking of picking up some for myself, but also for my college roommates. They’re both single and I think they could use a little pick-me-up for Valentines Day! What do you recommend?
Thank you!
Yania
Dear Y,
Happy New Year to you too! Great question, it’s always a great idea to buy gifts in advance, something I seem to forget every holiday season – I always end up running around like crazy at the last minute! Here are some suggestions for designer jewelry I know will be very popular in 2012, and that I hope you and your friends will love.
Let’s start with silver – if you’re going to give silver, give Tiffany! There are three different Tiffany heart charms I want to show you, and each one is totally unique. The first one hangs from three beautiful bangles, and if you look closely, you’ll see that it has a tiny cutaway heat inside of it. What a beautiful touch!
The next one is a slightly larger weighted heart pendant, perfectly suited to a long delicate chain. I love how the unique contours set it apart from traditional heart pendants.
The third heart is technically two hearts, and they hang by a small ring at the end of a long, thin silver chain. The larger one has a tiny engraving reading “Tiffany and Co.” Both charms are thin and flat which lets them rest nicely against one another.
Why not charm your friends – with charms! Chanel makes this beautiful gold linked chain bracelet with mixed charms. You can customize it by removing or adding new charms to compliment someone’s personality.
The last items I want to show you are these striking Chanel earrings in black. White crystal studs trim the beautiful black enamel, but the real centerpiece is the beautiful white CC insignia.
If you’re looking to shop online, all the items I’ve mentioned are available here. You’re a great friend for being so thoughtful – thanks for writing!

Fabulous New Designer Handbags And Trends For 2012!
Winter is still going strong, but I’m already dreaming of warmer weather and bright spring style! 2012 is shaping up to be one of the best years in ages for designer handbags, and as we start to get an idea of what the spring & summer lines have to offer, there’s plenty to be excited about. Here’s a little preview of what you can look forward to in 2012.
Last summer we started to see printed bags popping up here and there, and you can expect them to be hugely popular this year. Bold and colorful patterns, creative use of text and images – anything goes! This great Fendi bag proves it!
The clutch is a spring classic, but don’t be surprised to see them a little bit larger than you’re used to. Some brands may even try making them just big enough for the iPad, although these oversized Fendi and Chanel bags don’t go quite that far.
Fold over bags have been around for a few years now, and show no signs of slowing down. This Marc Jacobs Pouchette shows you how these bags have borrowed elements from men’s fashion (think satchels) to create something brand new.
If you’re prone to losing things (like me!) you’re going to love wristlets. These adorable little bags keep your essentials very close at hand. This Louis Vuitton Milla Pochette is proof that less really is more.
Chanel designer handbags with chain handles created a classic look, and now all the big designers are at least experimenting with chains. And why not? If they can produce something even half as lovely as the classic flap bag, they’ll be delighted.
You may have noticed a theme in these trends, did you catch it? Think small! Other than clutches, which will get a bit bigger, everyone is scaling back in size, so this year is going to all about smaller bags. 2012 will be defined by bags like the Louis Vuitton Pochette Delightful. It’s small and understated, but absolutely a must!
Now you’ve got a head start on spring, and no excuse not to look fabulous in 2012! If you’re interested in any of the bags I’ve talked about, you’ll find great replicas of them here.

Chanel, Prada And Christian Louboutin -Walk On The Wild Side With Wonderful Winter Shoes
It’s a new year and there’s plenty to be excited about, especially when it comes to shoes! I know it can be a little tricky keeping up with seasonal fashion trends, and with shoes it’s even harder than with designer purses. Lucky for you, I’m about to give a crash course on all the hottest trends emerging early on in 2012.
My crystal ball tells me that this winter you can expect to see a lot of patent leather, reptile skins, satin, suede and lace. I am also seeing beautiful buckles and three kinds of heels: spiked, chunky and wedge.
Patent leather prevails, despite not being the most practical choice when there’s snow on the ground. This winter it’s all about patent tips and having a great color contrast, like black and white or burgundy and black. That said I love these solid silver replica Jimmy Choo shoes!
Snakes, alligators, you name it – reptile skin is in! A lot of designers picked up on that this season, with Jimmy Choo leading the charge. I think these sling-backs are the nicest shoes they’ve put out in years.
Satin is a bit unconventional for winter, and they’re certainly not for trudging through the snow. But shoes like these replica Christian Louboutin sandals or Chanel replica shoes can steal the show at special occasions.
Remember a few years ago when buckles were all the rage? They’re back! Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo and Chanel are leading the way, and doing a great job of it.
Lastly, traditional heels are always a great way to beat the winter blues. Spike heels and chunky heels are both back in style – spikes are sexier but every woman needs a pair of comfy chunky heels as well. This year there are plenty to choose from – some of my favorites include the Chanel white patent booty (with lovely perforated leather) and these Yves St. Laurent pumps. This deep red is perfect for the season.
Can you guys think of anything I’ve missed? Let me know! I’ve discovered some of my favorite shoes and designer purses here, thanks to tips from my readers!

Dax Gabler Handbags Spring 2012

I’ve never heard of Dax Gabler, but he designed a handbag collection for Spring 2012 that’s pretty amazing. It’s unlike any other handbags out today, but his bags are more than just different, they’re fun, fresh and youthful. His bags have incredible texture and dimension, and while they may not be for everyone, they will be must-haves for many.

New Year’s Resolutions: Look Great With Chanel And Gucci Shoes!
My friends, I think that New Year’s Eve is your favorite night of the year, so let’s make it unforgettable; it’s the only night in the year when we don’t have to think about tomorrow! Leave all your problems aside and let’s think only about dresses, shoes, colors, make-up and handbags!
I was trying to decide what designer purse to wear and digging through the dresses in my closet when, it occurred to me that you ladies might be having the same fashion dilemma! So, let me help you out with a few suggestions on how to look amazing in the last moments of 2011! I want to show you a few dresses and replica shoes that will help you pass into the New Year with class and style!
My first choice is the beautiful Livia sequined degradé silk dress made by Antik Batik – isn’t it beautiful? I love the way the color fades from beige to gray at the hip, and the silver sequin design will make you the center of attention everywhere you go. If you want to emphasize your legs, match the dress with these dazzling beige pumps from Christian Louboutin! You can buy them here!
This Missoni Lauren pattern sequin dress is perfect for dancing the night away! It features a wide cowl neck with cap sleeves, but it’s the two unique overlaid patterns that make this dress special! It seems like it was made especially for these replica Chanel shoes, which you can buy here. Also beige, with black trim and a great floral pattern on the toe, these replicas shoes are classic and definitely not boring!
My personal favorite is this Salvatore Ferragamo sleeveless wool sheath dress. It features some very bold contours in the lapel and down the front. The perfect way to compliment this wonderful dress is by wearing a beautiful pair of replica Gucci heels with brass logo! The green and red band is part of the Gucci label; these replica shoes are the best choice to end the year with refinement, aren’t they? For more pictures, click here!
You can easily accessorize any of these combinations with a designer purse or replica jewelry! They will add the glamorous touch you need, especially for New Year’s Eve! Enjoy the party and Have Fun!!
Happy New Year!

Stella McCartney Falabella Tote

Initially I was indifferent to the Stella McCartney “Falabella” bags, as they, like all of her designs, are made with faux, man-made materials, which would be fine if she didn’t charge premium prices for such cheap materials. However the designs started to grow on me with this Spring 2012 collection in the brighter faux snakeskin prints. I have always liked the chain lined look, and on this bag the gold metal with the yellow color looks beautiful. I still think it’s overpriced, but the bags are well made and can withstand the use of a leather bag, so I’ll give it a pass.
Yellow and black snake print tote with gold-toned chain handles and trim, this designer handbag is a beautiful Spring accessory. It can be worn as a tote with the shoulder straps or folded over as a large clutch. It has black lacing around the edges and faux black patent trim. There is a gold-toned signature logo charm on the handle. It has a magnetic top closure, and inside is black signature logo lining with one back wall zip pocket. $1,165 Stella McCartney bags are here.
