It’s no secret that Jill’s Consignment is one of my all time favorite consignment shops, so I am constantly checking in to see what’s new. My perception of kate spade new york has really changed over the past couple of years. I used to think the bags were way too simple for my taste, but now I wouldn’t dare refer to a kate spade bag as such. The evolution of the brand is evident. I love the clever designs of the kate spade new york ‘daycation – rain or shine’ coated canvas shopper and the ‘daycation – bejeweled’ coated canvas shopper. Both shoppers have a catchy graphics on coated canvas that reminds me of a vintage fashion magazine. There is an interior wall pocket and metallic-script jacquard lining. JJ Winters Leather Zippers Hobo
November is here and I’m on the hunt for a new bag! My birthday is in a little over two weeks, so I’m making a list of all things I want between now and Christmas. One of the bags I would love to have is the JJ Winters Leather Zippers Hobo. It’s a beautiful shade of brick red leather with goldtone zippers all over the front of the bag. It all started when my Mom called to tell me that Lexington Medical Center was running a blogger contest with the goal of finding contributors for their new lifestyle blog for women, Every Woman Blog. I knew I had to enter! I submitted the above post on LMC’s Facebook page and patiently waited until they made their big announcement. Sure enough, I was chosen as one the winners!
We met at Travinia’s in Lexington for an intimate luncheon and a chance to get to know the other winners. We were asked to do an impromptu video introduction of who we are and what we plan to bring to the Every Woman Blog. I was super nervous about being on camera.
