Louis Vuitton Handbags Fall 2010

I really like the Louis Vuitton handbags for Fall 2010. Marc Jacobs theme for this collection was 50’s era ladylike fashion. This season, there were mostly reinterpretations of the classic Speedy, but much better. That functional shape originally designed in the 1930′s, came flocked and sequined, smothered in guipure lace over satin, or woven in metallic thread and done up in fox.

The bags were mostly structured satchels, conservative in design and color.There were no extra tassels or fringe this season, just clean, simple cuts that made for classic and sophisticated bags. The only one’s I didn’t like were the fur covered bags.
