Yves Saint Laurent Officially Launches the Roady Bags

Yves Saint Laurent has just officially launched their YSL Roady last September 10, although it was actually first seen in their Fall/Winter 2009-2010 ad campaign.  Also, it has already been receiving attention from celebrities and other fashionistas, like Mary Kate Olsen, Rachel Bilson, Leighton Meester, Katy Perry, Kate Beckinsale, and more.

This new style is designed by Creative Director Stefano Pilati. There’s actually nothing so innovative or new about the design as compared to their Muse and Muse II, since this Roady Bag is just a simple hobo-shaped bag in solid color and with matching handle. The bag’s versions include black patent leather, blue leather, black leather, red textured leather, black (silver) stingray embossed leather, and black leather with metal chain insert detail.

This looks undeniably large for everyday casual styling, and the single handle actually looks interesting as it is accented with silver-tone and ring attachments.

The price of the bags ranges from $1,195 to $1,795. Saks actually has the Patent Leather version for $1,195 and the Black Leather version for $1,395.
